There are two art shows planned to display artwork made on Paint Arizona Day, one in Sedona, and one in Tucson. For the art show in Tucson, the show is juried and requires you submit via this form. For the show in Sedona, you need to deliver your artwork to the Sedona Artist Market on Paint Arizona Day, April 5th before 6pm.

Paint Arizona Day is a unique celebration of art, nature, and community held annually in Arizona. The event encourages artists of all levels to embrace the beauty of the state by painting outdoors (plein air).

Participants can choose to paint independently in their backyards or join official painting locations guided by master artists. These designated locations showcase the diverse landscapes of Arizona, from the majestic mountains to the vibrant deserts. Beyond individual artistic expression, Paint Arizona Day fosters a strong sense of community. Artists connect through online platforms and participate in a culminating juried gallery show, where their work is exhibited and celebrated. This event not only promotes the art of plein air painting and highlights the natural wonders of Arizona but also strengthens the artistic community within the state.
